Vision Statement Of the 11th Step House Sober Living for Women
The 11th Step House is a community of recovery. We provide a safe, loving environment to women ridding themselves of crippling dependencies, such as drug and alcohol abuse. Our vision is to see these women grow in character as they rigorously work the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We see them develop healthy ways of resolving conflict and solving problems. They practice self-control and become more disciplined by seeking a Higher Power. The ladies learn to accept feedback from others, speak the truth in love and refrain from gossip and slander. Delightedly, we see them sharing these gifts with others.
We envision the women leaving the 11th Step House with confidence and a strong foundation upon which to build their recovery. They are women who have developed new, positive identities while living sober.
This is what wakes us up in the morning, and is what we dedicate our lives to, a completely new way of looking at life, at our Higher Power and at others.
